Stop gun violence! Daffodil Shotguns sends you back in time to a world of love and flowers! Corday was inspired to write Daffodil Shotguns after the numerous senseless acts of gun violence, including the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando and the Route 91 Country Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas. The 60’s infused production has Corday crooning over explosions of flowers. Students at Lakewood High School Advanced Media Production class (Paul Copeland) shot live footage of Corday on green screen while Advanced Fine Art and Graphic Design classes (Michelle Barisoff and Charla Avery) produced hand drawn art. Masterfully directed and edited by Quinlynn McCarthy, who also produced original art, the video ties it all together with pop art images in a psychedelic celebration of love.
